I wasn't much of a student until one opportunity changed that.
Until 10th grade I wasn't especially engaged in school. That changed in 11th grade, when I was picked for first Erasmus+ project. That's genuinely where things turned around, my teachers kept choosing me for whatever international project came up after that, mostly because I was reliable in English and responsible character stepping in early when something's about to go sideways. I'd rather fix problems quietly, step by step, than let noise build up around me, all these put me in a team-leader seat again and again.
Since then until the end of high school I've gravitated toward being the person who holds a room together; coordinating across languages, representing my school abroad. This opportunity gave me the vision to start taking the action which changed my life and brought me all the way to Poland.
